The big question is whether Fiat will even stay in the US. A pull-out is obviously being mulled over, although with the merger that will be looked at in a new light. The current sales volume is not sustainable. The 500, which was discontinued a couple months ago, accounted for nearly a third of Fiat’s already small sales.
